Account Deletion

This page explains how users of RETM Solutions apps can request deletion of an account and the personal information associated with that account. It applies to RETM Agent, RETM Client, Southern Realty Associates Agent, Southern Realty Associates Client, The Real Estate Genie, The Builders MLS, The Government MLS, and related RETM mobile or web services.

Delete from inside the app

When the app shows a delete-account option, open the app, sign in, go to Profile or Settings, and choose Delete account or Request account deletion. Follow the confirmation steps shown in the app.

Request deletion by email

You can also request deletion by emailing privacy@retmsolutions.com. Send the request from the email address used for the account, or include enough information for us to identify the account, such as the app name, brokerage, phone number, and account email address. If you cannot access that email address, contact support@retmsolutions.com for help verifying the request.

What we delete

After verification, we delete or de-identify account profile data and app data that is no longer needed to provide the service, such as app profile details, preferences, saved searches, favorites, passed listings, tour lists, uploaded app content, listing drafts, and other app records associated with the account.

What may be retained

Some records may be retained when required for legal, security, brokerage supervision, MLS, transaction, tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, dispute-resolution, or compliance purposes. Where retention is required, we restrict use of that information to the required purpose and delete it when the retention obligation ends.

Timing

We normally confirm verified deletion requests within 30 days. If a request is complex or we need more information to verify the account, we will tell you what is needed.
